I purposely purchased these Sera Spirulina O Nip Tabs for my Otocinclus Catfish and Corydoras schwartzi Catfish and they love them and so do all the other fish in my 20 Gallon tank. I attach one to the wall of the tank and drop two to the bottom for the bottom feeders. The fish are happy and I'm happy they have another healthy food source to enjoy. So all in all, everyone is happy, including me. Thank you Cory for offering such a wonderful product.
Instead of sticking to the glass I crush a piece of it in my fingers a little bit and swish it around the tank so itll settle on the leaves of plants, letting some larger bits fall to the bottom for my bottom feeders.
I have been wanting to try this fish food but was unable to get it locally. There is a novelty about being able to stick it on the glass and watch your fish eat it. My 20G fish really love this (Smaller congo tetras, some albino black tetras and von rios). IN my pother tanks, the bigger fish will knock this off rather quickly as they eat it in 1 to 2 bites. There is some entertainment in watching the fish eat this food. It will take them a bit to get use to eating it off og the glass but once they do, they attack it.
My fish needs veggie matter and they eat it up. I feed this a couple days a week in rotation with other foods. I smaller pack is packaged by pellet so it stays fresh.
its fun to watch my panda cories go chasing after the table. then the mollies come in and try to steal it but it don't work. lol
