Xtreme Community PeeWee Pellets

$ 49.00 until FREE shipping

Xtreme Community Peewee Pellets are a great 1.5mm Pellet suitable for smaller cichlids, loaches, and goldfish. In my testing, clown loaches go nuts for this as well as my goldfish. Less picky cichlids such as Bolivian Rams and African cichlid fry love it as well.

I got this food hoping it would bring out the color in my fish. It’s a bit too soon to see results. It does sink very fast, not giving my fish a lot of chance to get it.

Best Pellet Cichlid food

my Cichlids and their tank mates, clown loaches, Synodontis Cats, and plecos all love this food! I feed a variety of foods to my tank, but this is the ONLY pellet food for my fish!

Can’t beat the amount of food for the price, however, I give a variety of different foods and this one happens to be one that is not their favorite. I purchased because of watching a video feed on a fish farm in Florida where the colors of the fish were just outstanding. This was the only food they were given. So wanted it for my own. My hope is that they will get used to it. They do eat it just not as readily as some others provided

It’s ok

The fish will eat it but sinks way too fast. Works best on sand substrate or bottomless tanks. I use it to feed my shrimp and quarantined fish.

Good food but sinks fast

My fish do enjoy this food, but top feeding fish don't get a lot of chances before the food is in the gravel. My bottom feeders absolutely love this food. To help the top feeders, I put some pellets in an ice cube tray and added some de-chlorinated water to just above the pellets. After a couple hours in the freezer, I now have a pellet ice cube that defrosts little by little, slowly dropping pellets.
