I am always looking for different types of fish food to feed my fish (bettas, corydoras, tetra, snails, gourami, ect.) this food seems to be a hit in all my community tanks. I will definitely be stocking up on this food along with others from this line. My order process was easy, my order was shipped fast and correct.
My fish swarm this stuff better that most of the other things I feed. Feeds pretty clean. The pellets are very small, so any fish can eat it. The container is a good size and will last me forever.
The formula of this food is perfect, it has all the vital proteins, oils, and nutrients to maximize growth as well as bring out excellent color in your fish and/or inverts. Its perfect for botiine and weather loaches as well as large shrimp. It's good food for anything with a small mouth, really. The feeding response is positively excellent, that krill makes just as big of a difference in the aquarium as it does while fishing. The only con is that high protein content is poorly suited for fish with a low metabolism, meaning that their stool will have more nitrogenous waste, but that's hardly a complaint as it's not the intended use. I'd love to see this formula in different forms, like wafers. At the same time, i'd also like to see a lower protein version of this food, maybe supplemented with vegetable flour/meal. Overall, I can't recommend this food enough, the quality is next-level. I normally don't commend fish food because it's hardly worth commenting praise on something that does exactly what its supposed to do but this one goes above and beyond. Xtreme as a company has piqued my interest, i'm excited to see more from them.
My guppies love this stuff. I mix it with tropical flakes and both the guppies and their fry eat all of it.
The slow sinking aspect seems to be a stretch to me and like others I found it sinks way faster than I would like. However my guppies have went crazy and will eat off the bottom when they never would before. It may be a micro pellet but its for adult fish. Because of how fast it sinks I would not feed it in a tank with large substrate that it can sneak into the cracks.
