Even though we hatch live baby brine shrimp for various fry daily, we still find that Sera Micron is a must-have supplement. Our preferred method is tapping some powder into a small container of water and mixing thoroughly to create a green liquid fry formula that can be fed via baster or syringe. Sometimes we also add to our rinsed brine shrimp before feeding to fortify with greens. Whether as a back up in case of a poor brine shrimp hatch, or as a complete addition for feeding rather small fry, we recommend always having Sera Micron on hand if you are serious about breeding fish.
Bought this for Crib cichlid fry and they loved it. Made it easy to feed and grow the fry
I purchased this food because my new guppies started producing fry and they went bananas for it! As soon as it hits the water they attack like tiny piranhas. Their growth rate increased as well.
When I ordered this growth food I did not realize that my White Cloud Mountain minnows would give me about 60 more mouths to feed. I put them in an empty tank for one day then decided to put them back in their original tank. Two days later tiny, tiny babies started showing up in the now almost empty tank. These fry are so tiny that I could not even see them for a couple of days without a magnifying glass. There was no way they could eat crushed food of any type. Sera Micron: Growth Food has saved their lives so far. They are a week old today, or most of them are. It seems like they kept hatching for several days. I have no idea what I'll do with all these fry if they make it to adulthood. They seem to be doing great on this food, though. Newly hatched brine shrimp are much too big for them to eat at this stage in their lives.
