Sponge filters offer reliability and hassle-free operation. With no moving parts, all you need is an air supply and you've got a filter that is fully contained within your aquarium.  Sponge filters are completely reusable, don't need any replacement cartridges and last for several years. Trusted by fish farms and wholesalers, sponge filters are a great choice for reliability and to set and forget.

The Aquarium Co-Op sponge filter is designed using coarse foam so that it can go many weeks between cleanings. The coarse foam with the weighted base means it'll stack on the bottom of your aquarium. No more floating up after a water change or initial installation. Green Plastic helps hide algae and blend in with your live aquarium plants.

Sponge Filter

I got 3 medium sponge filters in my 125g and absolutely love them. Very easy maintenance just makes sense to have.

Qualty and fast shipping.

I ordered 3 sponge filters for my porch ponds that I breed platinum rice fish guppies, mollies and zebra pleco's. I live in FL and my water is as hard as it can get 8.5 to 9.01 out of the tap and needless to say a cheap sponge mineral does not last long, every month I have to soak them in vinegar just to keep them playable so I keep cycled sponges to use when 1 need soaking lol. Most spong filters I've bought 'from amazon' and I was lucky is they would last 4 months without just falling apart after 2 or 3 vinegar soak and washing. But the Aquarium Coop sponges are still going strong after three soaking and cleaning

I will be buying again
