Pogostemon stellatus 'Octopus' is very eye-catching due to its long, wispy and bright green leaves. This easy stem plant thrives under low to medium light and provides excellent cover for fish and shrimp to hide out. Once it starts getting established, it can grow quite tall in a short amount of time and may require regular trimming.

A thankfully easy plant that came as healthy as it could be, and is now thriving so far in two of my aquariums!
I bought 5 different plants together and set them into my 55g, and the plant that thrived the absolute best was my octopus, it grows faster in low light but has thrived well in my high lite tank. I set it up in one corner and it’s now on both sides of my tank. Grows slower under my hang on the back filter, but still grows. The plants show after first planted all the way to currently. I give over 12 hours a light a day and it’s still doing amazing.
