Water sprite is an easy-to-grow, aquatic fern with dense foliage that provides excellent shelter for small fish and fry. It can be grown traditionally planted into substrate or used as a floating plant. Water sprite grows fairly quickly when given plenty of nutrients under low to medium lighting. It is often confused with water wisteria because of their complex leaf texture and bright green color. However, water sprite has a more thin, lace-like leaf structure, whereas the leaves of water wisteria are a little more broad and sturdy.
Excellent Cover for Small Fish & Shrimp
Water sprite can be grown traditionally planted into substrate or used as a floating plant. Its dense foliage provides excellent shelter for small fish, fry, and shrimp. Give it plenty of light and nutrients for fast and healthy growth.
Plant Transition
Most aquatic plants are grown out of water at the farms. At our warehouse, we start the plant's transition so they can begin growing underwater leaves for you. Leaves grown out of water often have rounded lobes or very small needles, whereas leaves grown under water have a dense, lace-like structure. This is a normal process, and it's your choice cut off the fading, older leaves or leave them.
We Include Heat Packs and Liners Free of Charge
We have a custom-developed algorithm to include heat packs and insulating plant liners as needed, based on the weather forecast from our warehouse to your shipping address. This helps keep plants at stable temperatures, both in hot and cold weather. Other vendors typically charge you at checkout for a heat pack. We include them when needed free of charge because it's our job to deliver our plants to your door healthy.
Water Sprite came in looking great just as all of my other orders from aquarium co-op. I put this in my 20L that holds a dozen CPD's and a couple of Panda Cory's. So far it has been a wonderful addition to my tank, and I have already noticed some new growth.

Water Sprite
This has been a fantastic addition to my aquarium. I have a ten gallon with a Betta, 4 Nerite snails and some Ghost shrimp that share the tank. The shrimp have taken to hiding out in the new plant and the Betta seems to enjoy swimming back and forth through it almost as if he enjoys the way it feels on his skin. I would say it has also been very low maintenance in a low to medium light environment. I just use the easy green liquid. I am looking forward to getting some more new additions to my tank in the near future. Highly recommend!

Great looking little plant
After removing the rock wool I was happy to find quite a few stems. I planted them and can happily report there is already new growth. Very happy with the quality and they were alive and are now thriving.

Beautiful Plant; Great Customer Service!
Received the plant with most stems completely snapped and blackened at the breaks. I reached out to customer service and they immediately got back to me and offered to replace the plant. The next plant came in a few days later, and it looks awesome! It's been in the tank a few days and is already sending out new stems from the pot.
