Anubias Barteri is one of the most popular Anubias' in the hobby. Its broad, arrow-shaped leaves are considered larger than many other varieties of Anubias and it is best suited as a midground plant.
Anubias Barteri will thrive in low to medium light and its rhizome will slowly grow horizontally across your tank while sending up tall stems toward the light.

As someone who is new to live plants I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to care for! Since my tank light is incredibly bright, floater plants have been excellent in providing the Anubias its needed shade. 20 drops of Easy Green once a week, and that's about all the maintenance I do. My betta seems to appreciate the Anubias's wide leaves as a suitable resting place.
