Wouldn't buy again.

Got this before cycling a 40 breeder. My city water has sodium hydroxide added to raise the PH, so it may effect these readings. PH alert never did read the same as API master test kit 7.6. Ammonia Alert reacts very slowly.

Less Unneeded Panic Testing

Now that I have the Alert Combo, I find myself not doing as much of Panic Testing, just a twice a day look at the alert readers. =D

Gives peace of mind to a newly setup aquarium

Aleviates the constant worry if water parameters are off in a new aquarium. Before I installed this Alert Combo I was constantly checking the water, wasting test strips and test solutions. This doesn't replace regular scheduled water testing, but it gives me the peace of mind, or alert, in between.
