Blyxa japonica is a grass-like plant that forms bushy tufts of slender, flowy blades. Popularized by the famous aquascaper Takashi Amano, this truly aquatic plant grows 4–8 inches (10–20 cm) tall, making it a good foreground to midground plant for high tech planted aquariums. Its color ranges from bright green to reddish-bronze when given stronger lighting and CO2 gas. Feed it plenty of root tabs or nutrient-rich substrate to help it grow more quickly and fill in your aquarium.

Replacement arrived in very good condition
Didn’t have much of the plant when I received it, now I no longer own it, discouraging at times but till love this company never really have issues
I received my blyxa on Friday and it arrived completely dead and rotting (it smelled pretty bad). Aquarium co-op is the first reputable brand I've seen with blyxa potted; I know it's frequently sold as tissue culture from other large brands so let's hope this is a learning curve. They also sent the plant to Texas with no insulated liner, at the tail end of summer where temps are still frequently 90+ degrees. Customer service is sending another, I'll update my review when it comes in.
