I recently received a batch of orange neos (private sale) where all the water had leaked out of their bag during shipping. I thought they were dead, but somehow the did survive. They were a *very* pale yellow, to the point where I wondered if I'd been sent yellow shrimp instead of orange ones. I've been feeding them this Shrimp King Color, along with a variety of other foods, and they've been coloring up nicely. They're not as dark as the orange shrimp I have from a previous order, but seem to be getting there and only one or two are still more yellow than orange.
This food is different than the other Shrimp King foods I got in a sample pack. Instead of large cylindrical pieces that fall apart after being in the water for a while, these are little tiny nuggets. The shrimp like to pick them up and run off with them and I've seen them fight over them a few times. They don't appear to turn to mush, but that might be because the shrimp eat them up too quickly.
