Madagascar Lace Plant

Scientific Name: aponogeton madagascariensis

Care Level: Easy

Temperature Range: 59° - 78°F

This species of aponogeton native to Madagascar gets its name from the structure the leaves grow in, displaying a beautiful skeletal latticework design throughout. Madagascar Lace plants are perennial plants and will go through a period where most of their leaves will die back, typically during the summer, then sprouting new larger leaves around the fall.  When planting Madagascar lace take care as to not fully bury the bulb in the substrate, burying about half the bulb will keep this plant happy and thriving.

Most beautiful and fast growing plant I've ever had

I recieved one of these plants on November 7th and now it's huge and has a flower stem that must be at least 18inches! The one in the pictures is in a 40 breeder to give a size perspective. I loved it so much I just bought a second one but now I'm afraid it's gonna outgrow the 10 gallon I put it in lol

Always fast great service

I’ve ordered from Aquarium Coop a few times. The shipping is always fast, and the boxes are well packed. I’ve never had any problems with the Coop!
