Photographed next to a 12oz can of soda to give you a sense of the size of the wood. The wood you see is the wood you get (soda not included)
Malaysian Driftwood is a great addition to any aquarium, this wood will leach tannins into your water. You can boil the wood to speed up the tannins being released, but we typically just throw the wood right in and let the tannins do their awesome work! Driftwood can be a great secondary source of food for scavenger fish like plecos and shrimp, creating a place for them to graze on microorganisms and algae. Great for aquascaping and attaching Anubias and Java Ferns to. Or create natural looking nooks and crannies for critters to hide. The more hiding places some animals have access to can actually make them venture out into the open more often, allowing them to be enjoyed visually more frequently.
