Prime water conditioner is one of the best products for stretching your dollar. It is very concentrated much more so than other conditioners but lacks things like buffers and stress coats.
Use 1 capful (5 mL) for each 200 L (50 US gallons) of new water. For smaller volumes, please note each cap thread is approximately 1 mL. May be added to aquarium directly, but better if added to new water first. If adding directly to aquarium, base dose on aquarium volume. Sulfur odor is normal. For exceptionally high chloramine concentrations, a double dose may be used safely. To detoxify nitrite in an emergency, up to 5 times normal dose may be used. If temperature is > 30 °C (86 °F) and chlorine or ammonia levels are low, use a half dose.
Prime is a great water conditioner and way less from these guys!
Probably the best dollar to dechloriator value. I use it for my display tank since I run purigen. Makes my tap water safe to use, and doesn't ruin purigen. Wish it had added aloe but can't get everything in one product. Heads up it does smell like rotten eggs.
I've been using Prime Conditioner for years after Cory at Aquarium co-op recommended it (I'm lucky I live close to the store) and it's all I use now. With 5 tanks for my fish, fry and Trumpet snails I'm glad it's concentrated, I highly recommend this product.
Use in all my tanks
These guys are very knowledgeable about everything aquatic. Their prices are very reasonable. I've saved hundreds of dollars compared to other retail outlets.
