Plant arrived healthy and fast. The only issue I had was getting it to root. I would suggest some plant weights. I have had it now for a couple of months and it is doing fine. you would be hard pressed to find the same quality of plats that Aquarium co -op sells.
Came in great, packaged well and with four plants already in the single pot, planted three in my 20 gallon and gave one to my roommate, which is now in a 5.5 gallon shrimp tank. Grows great, but keeps seeming to uproot itself for seemingly no reason, which is a annoying, but it might just be that my apistogrammas really hate vesuvius for some reason. Either way, pretty solid purchase, as it's still not dead even after coming unrooted a a few times per plant.
I can't believe this plant is still alive considering I did everything wrong, starting from ordering it in the height of summer (90 °F+), planting and uprooting it a ton of times in the space of a month, and having my mystery snails drop on it from the top of the tank every single day. Even after being beat up by all that, it barely went through any melting, regrew a ton of roots, and has been putting out new leaves.
I am more than impressed by the quality of the plants that I received. Within two days of being in my tank, the roots were taking off and the leaves were exploding. Given the amount of business these folks must do, I am amazed by the care taken in packing my plants. I've never seen each plant inside a moisture holding sleeve within a plastic bag. That has to have a massive effect on how well these have transitioned into my tank. Thanks everybody at Aquarium Co-op.
I've wanted this plant for so long and the Co-Op didn't disappoint! It arrived looking gorgeous and is doing great!
