The Aquarium Co-Op Auto Feeder is perfect for everyday use whether you're at home or away from your fish tanks. Never over or underfeed your fish again as this unit reliably dispenses accurate portions of food every time it feeds. This feeder can be programmed to feed up to 4 times per day and runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Users may be able to get 3–6 months on a single charge, making it extremely easy to use and low maintenance.

1

Perfect for Daily Use, Breeding Fish, and Vacations

Make sure your fish are fed every day, whether you're at home or out of town. Useful for aquariums of any size to feed both nano and larger fish. Breeders like to use our auto feeders for feeding up to 4 small meals a day to keep their baby fish growing strong and healthy.

2

Easy to Use and Low Maintenance

Our auto feeder is very easy to program and allows you to automatically feed fish up to four times daily. Just follow the steps in the manual or video tutorial, and you're done. The 'Feed' button lets you manually feed your fish outside of pre-programmed times.

3

2 Options for Mounting

For both rimmed and rimless aquariums, the feeder has a screw-on mount that can fit up to 0.9 inches (24 mm) in thickness. For flat surfaces or acrylic tanks that don't have a rim, use the provided adhesive pad for mounting instead.

4

No AA Batteries Needed

Our auto feeder comes with a long-lasting, rechargeable battery that can run for 3-6 months, depending on daily use. The unit charges through a USB-C connection and takes about 3 hours to achieve a full charge. You can also leave the unit plugged in all the time so that it never runs out of power.

I was doubtful but it worked.

As a beginner aquarist I have what I refer to as a standard commercial aquarium hood. In my experience they come with perforated cut-out areas for a hang-on-back filter and an old fashioned hang-on-back heater (as well as some pre-cut slots for electrical wire and air tubing. I cut out the heater opening and mounted the auto-feeder at an angle so it would drop the food into that area. I had to cut a slot for the mounting bracket but it works just fine. The hood slides off and on without disturbing the auto-feeder. I was skeptical at first that it would fit my hood but since the auto-feeder can rotate (a very nice feature) it works perfectly.

Great Dependable Feeder

I ordered two of these feeders and loved them so much that I ordered two more.

I have been using these feeders for over a year now and they running incredibly well. I use these feeders whenever I leave for more then week to visit family or work, etc. They are wonderfully built and and very easy to interact with. The buttons are responsive and the screen is easy to read. You can set up the feeder to go off up to four times a day with multiple spins or one. There is plenty of storage for your food of choice and it is very dependable to actually do its job. I have even been able to get this to drop Massive pellets for my Stingrays without any issue of them getting them plugged up.

I do wish that the charging port wasn't micro usb and instead a usb c port for charging. I have no idea if this hasn't changed in any recent models, but that is something I wish was different. However, once it is charged this feeder last around six months without needing to be recharged, which is great!

Another issue I had was that the base that this comes with just doesn't work with my monster 75, 125, and 180 gallon tanks as the bracing is far too thick for it to attach to. Instead I went and purchased some thin ceramic tile that I then glued the feeder to hold the feeder down, but this allows me a very flexible setup to place my feeders wherever I want without issue!

100% would recommend to anyone looking a good and dependable feeder for their aquariums!

PSA If you own this feeder check to make sure it's not over rotating

I've had this auto feeder for almost 2 years and i've used it on and off without issue until now. This week I noticed a lot of food leftover in the tank.

I have the auto feeder scheduled to rotate once at 9 PM to drop some bottom feeder pellets in to my Corys. Normally i'm not home to observe it but today I was and noticed it spun 3 times and not the 1 time it was programmed for. The battery indicator says it has a full charge and nothing is obstructing the movement of the hopper, which only has a couple of tablespoons full of pellets in it. I double checked the schedule and reprogrammed it, again choosing 1 rotation but it still rotates 3 times. When I press the feed button it will randomly rotate once, twice or 3 times with no discernible pattern. I tried turning it on and off but that didn't solve the issue. In the video below I have it programmed to feed once at 9:55 but as you can see it rotates 3 times.

Stuff happens and I probably just got the rare lemon. I love the co-op and will order other stuff from here again, just not this feeder.

A Well Designed Tool

I've been researching autofeeders and I went with a trusted source. I am pleased with what I got. The feeders are relatively easy to adjust, flexible enough to adapt to my aquariums (which happen to all have lids) and do a decent job. That being said, it is still tough to get just the right setup, but that is going to be the case with any auto-feeder solution. Lots of trial and error are required.

Upgrade suggestion

This auto feeder is amazing! I love it so much! The rechargeable battery is game changer! I do have an improvement suggestion! I like to move my auto feeders between the different aquariums that I have! I would recommend including a heavy base piece that can be attached to the feeder so it sets on a flat surface without the need for the adhesive! Something interchangeable with the glass mount! Just a thought! I stuck mine on a piece of acrylic that I have as you can see in the pictures so it would make it heavy and not drop in the tank when it is full! Otherwise, Aquarium Co-op products do not disappoint!

Great bargain!

Extremely reasonable price. Works well and battery seems to last a very long time every time it is charged. Has been 2 weeks and still has all the power bars!

Works great

I bought several of these for guppy tanks so the fry won't get eaten while I'm on vacation. But I like them so much I will continue to use them even while I'm home

Great video instructions

After I watched the video and was able to set it up properly, the feeder worked great. I took off one star off because the instructions that come with it are difficult to understand. I strongly recommend the instruction video on the website which is excellent.

Great product; use superglue if using thicker rimmed tank

Love how easy to use it is and it is pretty water resistant by the way. However if you have a thicker rimmed tank like the Petco 75 gallon tank I highly recommend using super glue, the small lip on the rim makes this thing impossible to fit. After seven months of me having it on, it somehow fell into my tank while I was away and I came home to a dead community tank. I like this product way too much though because it gets my fish used to a spot on feeding time so I ended up super gluing it to the rim above the small lip. It is firm and won’t fall in now, & you simply pop it off from the rotating part when it comes to charging or refilling it with food. And surprisingly the water didn’t seem to affect it, it works perfectly fine till this date. On the bright side it got me away from my starter tank & gave me the opportunity to order a school of Celestial Pearl Danios! They should be coming in this week, super soaked to start a new community with the knowledge I have now thanks to the Co-Op Team!

Confident purchase

This unit is super quiet. I have to stare at it when it's in test mode to make sure it's working and it is. The settings are intuitive. The food canister is spacious. So far I'm distributing a mixture of flake and two types of pellets, and it is doing a great job, I am not using the tank clamp. I'm using the flat surface mount which I modified for Velcro to make sure it doesn't slip out of alignment accidentally. I would highly recommend this product and I'm highly confident in aquarium co-op.

It’s great at what it’s made to do but…

I’ve been using this feeder on my two tanks when I go home to visit family but I have only one minor issue with it. In my large tank, I have 10 discus in there and I leave enough space for the feeder to dispense enough food for them and all of the other tank mates. I only wish that I had an option to feed less than 1 day, like once every 2-3 days or once a week. I know there’s one feeder that can do that which I use for my shrimp tank, but you can only put so much in each slot (so no large tank single feedings). If I want to feed once a week, I can only do that twice not counting the day I leave which I feed then.

Hands down best

Stupid easy to set up / program. The only negative is cord is short but I have them directly plugged in and it's more intended to be charged every couple months so I can't knock it for not being exactly how I am using it so definitely 5 stars. I have it set up with sticker and have it screwed on, both were simple. I will say the sticker is a very good sticker so make sure you know exactly where it's going before you stick it on ! I got lucky and it worked but I can only imagine trying to literally rip it off.

It worked for a few days now it won't.

Let me start out by sharing i love aquarium co-op and fully support the shop over in Edmond. the crew is great. I was told this auto feeder just released out to the public.

I read the instructions and charged it overnight before installing it. It worked for about 2 days.

My issue now is it dies everytime it's feeding time the device will begin to spin and only spin a quarter spin and died.. then it reboots and that's it.. so my fish have not been fed through the time i thought they were while I was away.. i would manually push the feed button.. and it just died. It will reboot and once again I'll push the feed button and it spins a little and died again.. now i made sure it was fully charged... So i left it charged for about half my day. Then when it came down to using it it only did 2 successful spins and fed my tank. But after that it did the same issue.. it just died without completing it's spin and the feed button won't work. So i cant manually feed and the device won't feed by itself.. it's just there on my tank and I'm a bit let down itd be nice if it was ok to maybe get a different one still love aquarium co-op shop it's a nice place

Had to return it because it will not fit my old TropiQuarium 88 tank.

Strongly suggest adding dimensions to the product description so a future customer is not stuck paying shipping charges twice, coming and going, for a product that cannot be used.

Never used an auto-feeder before, and I've only used this for a few nights, but it worked perfectly. I used it with the magic nuggets, some of which I crumbled up, so was able to get a decent mix of sizes fed at once.

Worked as it's supposed to

We were able to set it up and test it just before leaving on a trip. When we came back it looked like it continued to work. All the fish are okay.
