At Aquarium Co-Op, our goal is to have satisfied customers. We make every effort to inform our customers about how our products work, and what is to be expected. We recognize that sometimes a product may not completely meet the expectations of a customer. We take pride in having a 90-day no-hassle return policy. If you have purchased an item and are not satisfied, we will take it back.

To start a return, email our customer service team at shipping@aquariumcoop.com. Please note that the shipping cost of returning an item is not covered by Aquarium Co-Op.

DOA Policy

We guarantee our live plants will arrive alive. If live plants ordered from us do not arrive in good condition, you can email us photos of the damaged or DOA plants, outside of their packaging and clearly showing the condition, to shipping@aquariumcoop.com and we will issue a refund or gift card for the purchase price.

Non-Returnable Goods

Live products are non-returnable, but still covered under our warranty and DOA policies. If you have issues with live products purchased from Aquarium Co-Op, please reach out to us at shipping@aquariumcoop.com so we can take care of you.

Aquarium Co-Op was my number one source for all things aquatic before I ever had a tank. The blog and YouTube channel were paramount to my research. When the time came to set up my kid's 30 gallon and then my own 75 gallon- Aquarium Co-Op was my first stop. I was able to get everything online that I needed (except the tank) and I've had phenomenal success with both tanks. I run their easy flow sponge filters and use several of their filter media options in my canister. I also use their magic feed food and easy green fertilizer. I swear by the measuring jar (looks like a glass you'd take a swig of your favorite fermented drink)- and I also love the dual ended scoop. Everything is easy to find on the website and their customer service is top notch!

Plants were packaged so nicely and suffered no melt in my tank. I was worried because it’s a long trip to WA state but everything arrived in good condition.

Aquarium Coop and your videos are a large reason why I have become heavily involved in the aquarium hobby for the second time in my life. Being from a very isolated place, the closest good fish store is 3 to 4 hours drive, AC is invaluable. I came back to the hobby 4 years ago and I have 22 tanks, 60 fish species and have bred quite a few.

My husband orders from Alaska all the time. It was great to see the place. My husband called it a pilgrimage. Lol

I visited the store for the first time the other day and it is amazing! The animals and plants were healthier than I’ve ever seen in a store; the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate; and the prices on everything were extremely fair, much better than what I’m used to paying.

I was visiting from out of state so I couldn’t take too much home, but if I lived close enough I would going my way to do business with this shop. I might move just so I can. Easily the best shop I’ve ever visited across the entire country.
