Stores that have utilized this practice have seen increased sales for these items. Some customers are shopping at your store specifically because you are carrying these items, so having them displayed in one area may make it easier for them to find everything that they need or possibly discover additional items that they had not previously purchased. (See the photos below for inspiration.) Another best practice is to remove fertilizer bottles from the clear shipping bags and install the pump heads for the customer. They display much better this way. Storing the Aquarium Co-Op Brine Shrimp Eggs with either your frozen or refrigerated items will help keep them fresh, ensures higher hatch rates, and instills confidence in your customers. Because of this (and because our sponge filters require less maintenance than others), we have created a sponge filter upgrade program. This program allows you to purchase a bulk quantity of sponge filters to be used in your tanks (not for resale) at a discounted price. Please contact Zenzo or Randy for additional details. Discount to Members Aquarium Co-Op has an online club where members have access to online presentations, as well as a 5% discount when shopping with Aquarium Co-Op and other participating stores. While not a requirement, advertising that your store honors the same 5% discount may help persuade local customers who otherwise would shop from Aquarium Co-Op to visit your store and purchase their items through you. Facebook Advertising As Aquarium Co-Op continues to remain actively engaged with our hundreds of thousands of followers on our official Facebook page and Easy Aquariums for Beginners group, our RPP stores also benefit from additional exposure on this platform. We share with our audience when a new RPP store joins the program, and we will also periodically share RPP store posts. Be sure to tag us so that we may see your Aquarium Co-Op-related posts. Website Store Locator Our retail partner stores are listed on the Aquarium Co-Op website on the Retail Partner Store Finder page. This ensures that customers in your area can easily find you and see that you carry Aquarium Co-Op products. Along with the name and location of your store, we also list your store hours, any contact information that you may provide (such as website, email, and telephone number), and if your store offers the 5% member discount for Aquarium Co-Op members. When setting up your RPP account with us, don't forget to provide a photo of your storefront to make it easier for customers to find you, or you can email it to Zenzo afterwards. Signage and Merchandise When a partner store reaches certain purchase milestones, Aquarium Co-Op will provide additional signage and apparel to further help your selling efforts. The shirts and hats are the same high-quality merchandise that we sell on our website. $5,000 – Receive a neon sign indicating that your store is an Aquarium Co-Op Retail Partner. This can be hung in your main window or over your Aquarium Co-Op display. $15,000 – Receive Aquarium Co-Op shirts for store staff to wear $25,000 – Receive Aquarium Co-Op hats for store staff to wear $35,000 – Receive a neon sign advertising Easy Green fertilizer (our highest reviewed product and an item sought out by most of our customers) Aquarium Co-Op Marketing One of the benefits of being a retail partner store that carries Aquarium Co-Op products is that we continually focus on promoting products that your customers may purchase from you.
