Vita Chem is a multi-vitamin supplement for fish. Generally, fish keepers use Vita Chem as a food soak to improve on the amount of vitamins their fish are getting. This can be essential for fish such as puffers or other predatory fish where live foods alone aren't providing sufficient nutrients. It works well with freeze dried food such as brine shrimp or tubifex worms. It can also be very effective when added to frozen and pellet foods. Helps aid with fin regeneration & Lateral Line disease.

Vita chem

I add this to all my aquariums every 3 months. I have softer city water this replaces lots of minerals that my fish need that are stripped out by the municipality water system.

Pretty good

This is good when they need a quick boost! I like adding some to their food right after they get off antibiotics and or deworming. Anything stressful.
Some vitamin and mineral is needed for other factors to work(hope that make sense)

Perfect for Puffers

I love this stuff! I inject it into frozen crawfish or frozen snails before feeding them to my puffers. For smaller puffers, I soak green beans in it before feeding them to my snails or scuds to gut load them, before feeding to my fish.

Must have food supplement

I feed a variety of food to my fishes and I also make my own fish food and this is a must have to supplement the food I make. I have used this for the past two years and has raised very healthy arowana, clown loaches, stingrays, bettas, barbs and cichlids. I think this has help raise healthier and stronger immunity fishes. This does not cloud your water and this small bottle usually last several months. I keep this in the fridge when not in use.

Great customer service

This is my second bottle Vita Chem, my first order leaked all out. I took a picture of the package and emailed customer service. They replaced it with no questions and apologized. Also I have been using Vita Chem for a while and it seems to be helping my fish with torn also with over health of fish.

Vita Chem

Hi
I am using Garlic Guard and Vita Chem to build up my fish immune systems since I lost one after transitioning to my main aquarium even after 6 weeks of quarantine. I notice the tetras and my apistogramma will eat the frozen food with Garlic Guard but the ember tetras were not too keen on eating the frozen food with Vita Chem. So, I am putting the Vita Chem in the water which is also an option. I've used the product for about a week.

Highly recommended!

I use VitaChem as a supplement when I feed frozen bloodworms and frozen brine shrimp. I like to thaw out the bloodworms and brine shrimp in a bit of tank water in a small cup, then add VitaChem to that. I've used VitaChem for a long time, but I always prefer ordering from Aquarium Co-Op as a long time supporter. Product arrived quickly as always and my fish have the supplemental vitamins they need.

Fishy Vitamins

I love my fish, and it makes me feel good to know that when I give them these vitamins, I am covering all the bases. Plus, they love them! It a win win for both of us!

I use this stuff a few different ways and have noticed a considerable difference in color vibrancy and overall health. First way I use this is how they say on the bottle, in the water column and as a food soak. I have also found its good to add to rapashy. Lastly I use it to mix yeast and chlorella powder together and feed it to my live daphnia culture. My school of thought is that Im loading my daphnia with extra vitamins.

why not?

Someone prove to me why I shouldn't use Vita chem? I don't have any scientific facts on using Vita chem. I am of the camp, that the healthier I can keep fish, the less likely they will get sick. I can say that it doesn't hurt the fish. I of the camp, medicate before i have a problem.

Great product

I have been using this product for about 5 weeks and I must say I started seeing the difference in my fish in about 2 weeks. They look vibrant, more colourful.

I use this daily it is great product

I use vitachem as a soak on all the foods for puffers here. In my opinion adding that little bit more vitamin makes some of the foods slightly more nutritious than if i didnt use it.

Awesome Vitamins

I am excited and use this in my lake Tanganyika Julidochromis tank and the fish are breeding and are very healthy with multiple clutches of fry. Love how this supports the fish!

Too soon to tell

Have only had this product for about a week. Gave one dose so far…no one died so that’s a good thing.

Great For Fish Fins!

I have glofish blackskirt tetras whose fins can get a little rough, and the Vita chem appears to help. Certainly keeping the aquarium healthy is important for this also, but I'm convinced vita chem is helpful.

Vitamin Boost

Hello,
Received the Vitamin in quick Order, Timely Delivery! Gave the Fish their First Dose, which followed a Cure-All Antibiotic. Well, we are four days into the Vitamin and I can report that the few fish that had Tail-Rot are now Symptom Free! No Tail Rot! Fantastic! I wouldn’t have believed it, Really! So Now a Vitamin for Fish makes A Lot of Sense! Gives them a Fin-up sort of Speak, ha ha! Thanks, a drop per Gallon for a worry-Free Community!

Great add on

This product is a great add on to food for increased nutrition.

food soak vs water additive

I see in the instructions that it says to either add to aquarium water directly or soak food. I see most comments mention it being used as a soak. Wondering if adding to aquarium water provides equal benefits?

Great product!

The fins on my black telescope goldfish were always tearing and fraying and no medication seemed to help. When I added this as a food soak she started to heal very quickly. Now I make sure to always have it around.
