I put this food into an old easy fry food squirt bottle and it feeds out perfectly. I just made the hole at the end slightly larger with the coop scissors

My fish love this food I love that it floats mid tank and all over the tank and my fish go crazy for this food I should got the bigger container

The food really does stay in the column for hours. All of my fish readily feed on it without exception. The 16 oz is really big. See pic for scale.

Together these two foods are a 1-2 Knockout Punch ! I feed the Floating Pellets first so that the very aggressive feeders like my Endlers that targets the surface can feed and then the slow sinking Magic Small for my shyer species ( CPDs and Chill Rasboras) and fry can eat at their own pace. I wanted to avoid flake foods that can foul the water to stretch the Small Magic aka Nano Feed further and this new product was the perfect solution

Our comet, shebunkins and bubble Koi love the easy community floating pellet fish food from aquarium co-op. Our fish are healthy active and appear to love the food. Their colors are beautiful and they are growing like crazy. Highly recommended

My Rainbows, Tetras and Swordtails don't seem interested in it yet. I do have a little bit stronger flow on my 75g than my other two tanks. Maybe that is the issue? But once it hits the bottom my Corey's seem to like it. This jar will probably last longer than it's expiration date. I want to feed my fish not my tank.

The floating pellets move around the tank without getting lost in the gravel and possibly going to waste. My rainbows and clown loaches love them. And they’re not too small for my 8 inch severums to pick out of the water column.

All of my fish, in my 50+ aquariums, go nuts for this stuff...! Vibrabites used to get the biggest dry food reaction out of them, but now when they see me approaching with those big green containers they're almost jumping out of the water...!!! I really can't wait for the bottom/ sinking version...! All of my corydoras and bushynose go to the top to try to get some for themselves...! Thanks for another GREAT product...! Like chicken tenders for fish

They are micro pellets. Being accustomed to flakes, It took about a week for my tetras and small angels to accept them.
Surface tension might keep them floating a long time.

I was hoping it would be big and it is! My Parrots and Angelfish sure SOOO happy!!!

I like this food, I so badly wanted my fish to like it, but alas, they barely eat it. I love how it floats in the water and I think it is better at triggering hunting responses in my fish because of how it moves mid column.

It has the same great simple ingredients as the magic small fish feed, but in different quantities, yet my fish like the small fish feed over the community pellet and I think it's because of the hardness of the pellets.

My fish get really excited when it hits the water, but they nom on it for a bit then spit it out. After a while they just start ignoring the pellets floating around. In the hand the pellets have the same hardness feel as some other competitors pellets I've tried, which my fish also do not eat. The pellets aren't huge but I think their size exacerbates the problem of the pellets being too hard for them.

Could it very well just mean my fish are picky? Yes, but I'd keep it in mind if you have fish like mine who prefer soft foods.

I have a 16g guppy tank with shrimp and they absolutely love the small floating pellets. The shrimp will even swim to the top to grab a snack. Everyone knows when it's feeding time! Thank you guys for making a great product!!

I find the food is the perfect food for a wide variety of fish as you can see from my video. The pellets has imo the perfect buoyancy.

My community consists of a Powder Blue Dwarf Gourami, Rummy Nose Tetras, Serpae Tetras, Gold Barbs, YoYo Loach, Siamese algae eater, some Panda Cory's, and a Bristle Nose Pleco. Everything loves this stuff.

Started using this food for my 180 gallon community aquarium about ~1 month ago and have been happy with the switch. I get great feeding response from my angelfish, mollies, kribs, Siamese algae eaters, and cherry barbs. The longer-sustained floating increases the dispersion around the aquarium; which I have noticed has helped my more shy/less active fish get a larger share of the meal.

These are the perfect size for my zebra danios & white cloud mountain minnows- but better yet, my betta loves them! And he is a very picky eater!

This is the best food, it hovers in the water column from top to bottom. Very easy to tell if you have over fed.

I have been feeding this food for a couple of weeks now and my fish really enjoy it. It stays floating for an amazing amount of time. I tested it on a empty tank and I still had a couple of pellets floating that were still floating the next day (12 hours later). Amazing food for you medium sized fish. Highly recommend!

#1 thing to know about this food is the smell is like 1/4 the smell of the magic small fish feed. So when you open the container, your wife isn't gonna ask what died, and your dogs aren't gonna be harassing you for a taste.

It seems like my fish really like this pellet, especially my apisto macmasteri. They like feeding from the surface, and about 95% of these will stay floating/float back up if they get pushed down. The other 5% will slowly sink and then stick to whatever it hits for the most part.

I'll probably be buying this for my community tank, and my apisto pair when they're not breeding. Definitely seems like the fish really like it.

As a side note, sometimes it looks like 20% sink and don't float back up, and sometimes there are only a few pellets that'll sink. Not sure if it's luck of the draw, or currents or what. I'm sure I'll notice a pattern once I feed it more, but sometimes I'm surprised at how many sink.

What an awesome food! It’s a great size—auto feeder friendly, fry and large fish alike go nuts for it. Shrimp and snails carry it around munching on it. It’s so much fun watching for 5 minutes or so after a feed. Everyone comes out to munch! I highly recommend giving it a try!

This food keeps my Discus active hunting for food for the better part of an hour! About 95% of the food floats and over the course of an hour it slowly sinks and moves with the water current which keeps my Discus active and happy. The food doesn't cloud the water and keeps its shape very well. I am very happy with my purchase and will be buying more!
