The Aquarium Co-Op Auto Feeder is perfect for everyday use whether you're at home or away from your fish tanks. Never over or underfeed your fish again as this unit reliably dispenses accurate portions of food every time it feeds. This feeder can be programmed to feed up to 4 times per day and runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Users may be able to get 3–6 months on a single charge, making it extremely easy to use and low maintenance.

The adjustable slider opening on the top of the feeder allows you to set your desired portion - small to large or anywhere in between. As of 3/26/26, all auto feeders will now come with a second, precision feeding port to optimize for smaller foods. Additionally, the base weight has been increased by 185 grams. Excellent for fish tanks of any size. The manual 'feed' button allows for feeding outside pre-programmed times.

Easy to Use and Low Maintenance

Our auto feeder is very easy to program and allows you to automatically feed fish up to four times daily. Just follow the steps in the manual or video tutorial, and you're done. The 'Feed' button lets you manually feed your fish outside of pre-programmed times.

2 Options for Mounting

For both rimmed and rimless aquariums, the feeder has a screw-on mount that can fit up to 0.9 inches (24 mm) in thickness. For flat surfaces or acrylic tanks that don't have a rim, use the provided adhesive pad for mounting instead.

No AA Batteries Needed

Our auto feeder comes with a long-lasting, rechargeable battery that can run for 3-6 months, depending on daily use. The unit charges through a USB Micro B connection and takes about 3 hours to achieve a full charge. You can also leave the unit plugged in all the time so that it never runs out of power.

Adjust the Food Amount

The adjustable slider opening on the top of the feeder allows you to easily set the meal portion size. If you're only feeding a few fish and the smallest opening still drops too much food, one trick is to use a piece of tape to partially cover the slot.

As a beginner aquarist I have what I refer to as a standard commercial aquarium hood. In my experience they come with perforated cut-out areas for a hang-on-back filter and an old fashioned hang-on-back heater (as well as some pre-cut slots for electrical wire and air tubing. I cut out the heater opening and mounted the auto-feeder at an angle so it would drop the food into that area. I had to cut a slot for the mounting bracket but it works just fine. The hood slides off and on without disturbing the auto-feeder. I was skeptical at first that it would fit my hood but since the auto-feeder can rotate (a very nice feature) it works perfectly.

Was a little confused by the written directions but there are really good videos on YouTube so check those out. The new angled slider is really good at dealing with small fish food’

Feeder was easy to set up. It takes some trial and error to adjust the food adjustment slot, the number of daily feedings, and the number of drum rotations to prevent over-feeding, particularly with micro pellets. I ran mine over a paper plate for about a week to get the settings to my liking before mounting the feeder.

Live plants will ship using an appropriate service and typically arrive in 2 to 5 business days. Transit times do not include weekends, holidays, or weather delays. To avoid delays in the shipping network we recommend
