Copper sulfate was left out of the list of ingredients, but is list on the bag. Copper sulfate can be toxic to some species of snail.

Copper in copper sulfate binds to proteins in fungi and algae. This damages the cells causing them to leak and die. In snails, copper disrupts the normal function of the skin cells and enzymes.

Everyone in my tank including the neon tetras, blue velvet shrimp, otos and the snails all love this food. It's usually gone once my mystery snail finds it. He's my little hoover. Highly recommend these wafers.

This must be the best pleco food on earth, my bristlenose pleco loves them, so does my platies, corydoras and kuhli loaches! Hikari Algea Wafers are great!

I've been looking for a larger algae wafer for my Plecos. The small one's work but are usually grabbed by my Plattys. These algae wafers are about the size of a dime and are not dragged off so easily. My Pleco's love them.

My shrimp and guppy fry graze on these for hours.

Bought for my Pleco but the Corys, shrimp, and even angelfish seem to love them as well.

My silver dollars can’t get enough of these. I break them up in smaller pcs to make sure that everyone gets some. I use these along with blanched fresh veggies and they seem to prefer the Algae Wafers a bit. Even my Oscars and of course Pleco love them.

My bottom feeders are almost possessive of them. The plecos will grab a pieces and remain on it until finished. The corys seem to nibble, my kauhli loaches come out of hiding for it. My inverts are also possessive of it. Even my angels and guppies go to the bottom for some grazing
