Hikari Sinking Wafers were developed specifically for corydoras catfish, loaches and other bottom dwellers. They contain high levels of proteins and vegetables supplemented with plenty of vitamins and minerals for a strong immune system and a healthy life. Blended with flavorful ingredients, this food is sure to attract even the picky eaters in your tank. The wafer becomes soft in water for easy feeding, but will not dissolve.

Great food easy to use. My albino corys love these. And gobble em up. Any time they hit the tank. Apologies for haz I had quite the bacterial bloom going on an had to add in a fine mesh filter media.

Great for pygmy corydoras

I have previously tried the Hikari mini algae wafers which the shrimp love, but my corydoras pygmaeus were lukewarm. Everyone loves these though, I always put in a few because otherwise the otocinclus, amano shrimp, cherry shrimp and pygmy copies will fight over them.

Amazing food with one slight downside...

Me and my corydoras LOVE these wafers, but there is one problem... they break down wayyy too fast! within 3 minutes, they are mush that gets deep in the gravel, but thankfully i have Trumpet Snails that surface the piles of mushy goodness. that is my only complaint, other than my all my tetras keep stealing them from my corys! absolutely love this food!

Great for corys and snails

I purchased the hikari sinking pellets to feed my corydoras and ramshorn snails but even my neocaridina shrimp and glo light tetra will eat these. The never dirty the water and seems to satisfy everyone in the tank.

Excellent snail food!

I love Hikari sinking wafers for my snails. I drop a few in at night and they can graze on them overnight a couple times a week. They keep my snails healthy with strong shells often I also add some calcium when I drop in the sinking wafers. I highly recommend them!

Great product sinking wafers

These are the best sinking wafers I’ve used. I raise panda and emerald corey’s. Even the tiny babies will munch on the sinking wafers. There’s no residue or cloudy water. Great product.

Never seen a sinking food outperform this

Every fish I have ever had wants some of these wafers. My amano shrimp steal them, my loaches all come out for them, my cories will munch on these until they are gone. Even any crumbs that are kicked up mid water are caught by my tetras. Never any leftover food with these wafers.

Super food

These are very popular in my tank. When I opened my last order from Aquarium Coop, My cat was helping. I took the bag of wafers out of the box and started unpacking the plants. My cat grabbed a sealed bag of wafers and scamped off. A moment later I head crunching, My cat was ripping open the bag. Not only do my catfish love them, my very picky cat thinks they are cat treats. I have to keep them under lock and key. 8-).

Hikari sinking wafer

We picked this wafer product just to give our bottom feeders some variety. It's working well for us. The sinking wafer is very similar to the algae wafer except for the sinking wafer is much smaller tablets and it's supposed to be softer. Oh also the sinking wafer has a smidge more protein and twice the fat content. Also I lot more vitamin E. I'm not sure what all that means in the end but our hillstream loaches, otocinclus and cory cats seem to be thriving with the variety of food. We also feed them flake, sinking pellets, baby brine shrimp, blood worms and blanched vegetables. The wafers do make it much easier on my busy days.

I love these wafers because they do sink fast enough to get to the mystery snail at bottom of tank. Thanks for creating this item!
