  • Excellent source of protein
  • Similar taste and texture as live tubifex worms
  • Free of harmful parasites and bacteria

Tubifex worms are a great source of natural protein for many different types of fish. This freeze-dried option offers a very similar taste and texture to live tubifex worms but without the worry of harmful bacteria or parasites. Tubifex is also commonly used by breeders to spawn fish like corydoras, discus, bettas, and other fish that need a lot of protein. You can feed the cube by floating it at the surface, breaking it into pieces, or even sticking it to the tank wall.

1

Stick It to the Glass

You can press and hold the tubifex worm cube against the glass, squishing out the air. The cube will then stick on the tank wall, letting you watch your fish up close. (Note: some bigger, aggressive eaters can pull it off the glass.)

2

Float It or Break It Up

Freeze-dried foods naturally float so simply drop a cube at the surface to provide enrichment for the fish as they chase it around the tank. If you want to spread around the food to feed shyer fish, you can also break up the cube under water.

Whole Tubifex Worms Without a Freezer

You can leave your freeze-dried foods right by the aquarium. No refrigeration or freezer required. No additives — just 100% tubifex worms that are gut-loaded with healthy nutrients and freeze-dried into an easy-to-feed cube.

It's a hit! Cut 1/4 piece of a cube off held it against glass 5 seconds or so and it stuck. Fish went crazy. Panda garra was the first to go after it. Kubotais and cpds inhaled the pieces that broke off into the water. Great food.

Fish love it!

I bought this a while ago and couldn’t get it to stick to glass. I forget which content creator on YouTube gave the tip of squeeze the air out of it and it sticks better but it worked! All my fish eat this up. My hillstream loach waits on the glass for me to stick food there and he makes much work out of this! Even my parrot fish love it! I captured some photos of them below

My favorite community freeze dried food.

It’s the best way to feed my large colony of corries and feeding the rest of the aquarium.

Good Option for Quality and Variety

I bought this to bring add to the 4 other foods I currently have. I have Rummynose tetras, Cardinal tetras, Bosemani rainbow fish, and Albino Cory cats. It took me a couple tries to figure out how to stick the food to the glass. But once I did it stuck like a dream. All the ingredients seem very high quality and you get a lot of cubes for what you pay for.

My rainbow fish and my catfish are the ones who really like this right now. But I think once I start sticking them in more places so the tetras can have a relaxing meal. They'll eat them it too. Pro tip, I was able to get my catfish to eat these by just sticking it on the glass about an inch off the substrate.

These are one of my favorites to feed. Smush it to the glass and instant viewing enjoyment. All my fish love it, especially the orange venezuelan cories.

Feather?

My fish do not seem to be interested but my mystery snails do. About halfway through using I found a feather. I don’t own any birds. Hesitant on continuing using it.

Fish Are Loving It

The fish in every tank I have placed this into have gone after it aggressively. I have only used it for two weeks now, but I like what I’m seeing. I cut mine in quarters to not overfeed.

Aquarium coop never disappoints! Love the tubiflex worms and the ease of feeding. They stick to the glass which makes it fun to watch during feeding time. My danios, black emperor tetras and apistogramma love these! Shipping was fast and will be a long time returning customer

My cory catfish go nuts whenever I feed them this food.

They will generally lay eggs the same day I feed them the tubifex warms.

Freeze dried tubifex worm feedings

My community tank fish Love these. So fun to watch them pick at it when it’s stuck to the glass. The angelfish especially loves it and sometimes get a little too vigorous knocking it off the glass however it floats and they will continue to pick at it and enjoy it. I would highly recommend adds great variety to the diet and keeps well.

Tubiflex

I like...! Everything ways em...! I've even watched my multiple types of corydoras and plecos go to the surface to munch on these cubes of worms... I love the fact that you get almost twice as much than others brands for the same price...! This is yet another GREAT product from Aquarium Co-op...! Thanks Cory and gang for your awesomeness, keep it up...!

Excellent feeding response

The fish in my mixed live-bearer tank (see media) love this food! They devoured it very happily off the glass. As the adults ripped chunks off, smaller pieces floated to the top, giving the timid fry an opportunity to feed as well. I'm so grateful the coop restocked on this product!
