  • Tall Growing
  • Easy Care
  • Wispy Leaves

Pogostemon Stellatus 'Octopus' is a unique stem plant which is very easy to grow and can thrive under low to medium light. Once it starts getting established, it can grow quite tall in a short amount of time and may require regular trimming.

Pogostemon Stellatus 'Octopus' is very eye-catching due to it's long, wispy and bright green leaves. It will add interest to any tank while simultaneously providing fish a place to hide out. Because it can get so tall, it makes an excellent midground to background plant in aquascaping.

one of my first aquarium plants

originally when i got the stems they were very small and definitely immersed grown, so i initially was pretty nervous since it was the first plant i was putting in my tank and it also didn't look like it was super healthy. a little more than a day later i noticed new growth on the plant. almost three months now since i purchased this plant and it is definitely thriving in my tank. i absolutely recommend this plant for any beginner unsure about adding live plants to their aquarium!

Can cover large area

I absolutely love this plant. I bought some for my newly setup 75 gallon and it was a slow to grow. Until the roots got established and I got it with a bit of easy green and iron. Then it blew up and I planted cuttings in an easy rock planters that also took off. Just fantastic plant, especially if you want to fill out a given space.
