  • Excellent source of protein
  • Similar taste and texture as live bloodworms
  • Floats on the water surface

Looking to add some more variety to your betta fish's diet? Freeze-dried bloodworms are a natural, high-protein food that doesn't need to be refrigerated or frozen. We love feeding this floating food to our livebearers, betta fish, gouramis, killifish, loaches, and other meat-loving species. Once placed in the water, it quickly rehydrates and has a similar taste and texture as live bloodworms.

Bloodworms

The bloodworms work very well. The more Aquarium Coop food products I try moves me further from continuing to use flake food.

Perfectly sized and loved

My angel fish loves these and they are so much easier to feed than the frozen kind.

Blood Worms

I like them just fine, and so do the fish. It's nice to have them float instead of sinking right away to the bottom like regular blood worms do. They always get eaten fairly quickly.

I want to love it but . . . .

I haven't fed blood worms to my community tank prior to trying these. I'm not having a great experience with them so far, it may be something I need to do differently. I have tried using the cone worm feeder and sprinkling on the water surface.
The problem is they are not rehydrating, the fish mouth them and then spit them out. Even my most voracious feeder isn't eating them because he doesn't feed from the surface and they never seem to sink.
