I use the fritz aquarium salt in all my aquariums. It's also my first step treatment for most fish health problems as well. It dissolves pretty fast and isn't huge chunks.

I like the small bag of salt. I have 3 nano tanks and one 20 long. I feed a lot of baby brine shrimp. The 1 pound bag is great for my small batches. My order included many miscellaneous items. One stop shop :)

I needed to stock some meds for my newish tanks, and ordered after a recent winter storm shut down deliveries for a few days. Shipping was still fast and came through Amazon in a well-packed box.

I haven't used it yet but am keeping it on hand in case I suspect an infection or parasite. Was going to use it to treat ich but decided to go with ich-x because I have a clown loach and catfish.

I really was reluctant to buy it but I did cuz I needed some salt for my brime shrimp eggs and when I received it I was amazed by the package, you think 1 lb isn't that much, I was wrong there is a lot salt.
When I am hatching brine shrimp you use the Aquarium co op shrimp hatcher which I love, but I do make small portions for my needs so I make a gallon of brine shrimp salt mix. And the Fritz salt so easy to mix a gallon batch compared to the Rock saly I used to use. So yeah definitely going to buy again John

Had a case of chronic fin rot/fin melt on my betta despite acute treatment with Kanaplex. My fish was lethargic and losing weight. Mixed 1/2 teaspoon Fritz salt with 2 drops of Aquarium Co-Op methylene blue into 1 gallon of water and soaked my Betta for 30 mins. 2 soaks, 1 week apart, and it was shocking how much new fin growth and increased activity my Betta showed. Not sure if it was the salt, the methylene blue or both, but this treatment was magic!

Its aquarium salt and very fine. Dissolves quick not much more to say.

Fritz is my go to for everything. My goldfish were showing signs of ich and adding some of this helped clear it right up
