Great food for bottom dwellers.

Shrimp and Corys love it. I feed it to over 400 shrimp, always happy with the results.

Everyone’s favorite!

My shrimp and snails go bonkers for this food. I have never seen them gather so quickly around anything else. Aquarium Co-Op also has the best price. It’s more than double right now on Amazon.

Happy shrimp

Sinks nicely and my shrimp love grazing on them

Community tank loves it

My favorite thing about these shrimp pellets is that they sink FAST. My Amanos go crazy when these land on the substrate. The platys also try to nibble on them but the shrimps will snatch them out of their mouths.

Xtreme sinking shrimp pellets

They sink immediately and within five minutes my shrimp were on it eating happily. The male amano in one tank even stole a whole pellet and carried it onto the side of the tank to eat it.

It’s better than the German brand.

If you breed shrimp you are always looking for a new food that make your shrimp excited. Well you need to try this brand. It might not pop in the marketing dept but it does in the tank. My shrimp like it so much more than the popular German brand. But don’t take my word on it.

Great name for this product

Great price & product. The shrimp absolutely love this food. I have a 55g tank full of cherry shrimp and not long after I drop a good chunk of this food in they have swarmed to that side of the tank.

Shrimp go nuts for this.

When I want to photograph my shrimp, this is the milkshake that brings all the boys (and girls) to the yard. It’s by far their favorite food.

Why I love fish flakes...

I have a 21.6 gallon community tank. I alternate feeding them pellets, blood worms, and flakes. They are definitely not picky, but I must say they especially love the days I feed them flakes. Here's why:
1. All my fish love them - glass cats, gouramis, rasboras, and tetras.
2. The flakes can be easily broken up to cater to all my fish buddies, whatever their size.
3. They are eaten quickly and there is little food left over.
4. Any flakes that escape the fish and sink to the bottom are quickly consumed by my shrimp and glass cats. I love watching how happy they are as they gobble these flakes.
In short, these are excellent fish flakes that all your fish (and inverts) will love.

The shrimp don’t seem to be heavily interested in the food, but gets the job done.

Attack of the shrimp!

My shrimp never went for food like they go for this. If I want to see more shrimp in my tank I just drop some in and they all come out of hiding

Great food

My 5 Kuhli loaches and 2 Amano shrimp love this food. I cut them in half because they aren't full grown. That makes them the perfect size for them.

Good Food

The shrimp seem to like it, I’ve had trouble getting them to eat anything that wasn’t the Xtreme community flakes, but these were a hit!

Making shrimpers like crazy

my shrimp love these. I like that its a stick so I can watch the progress of their eating if I want to. I actually don't know if it leaves any debris behind but I haven't been able to notice it. I even had my king betta accidently eat a whole stick and he seemed happy?

I have not really noticed my pleco eating it which is a bummer but the snails also go after it. I dont think it has enough supplement to help with their shells though.

One jar has lasted me over a year so I am just hoping it doesnt go bad

Xtreme Shrimpee

I just tried this for the first time, seems like the shrimp really like it. It does hold its shape for long time. I make sure to put the food in at dark, because the fish seem to like it as well . I’m very happy with it.

Didn't work as well as I initially thought.

I used these as a base food for my shrimp for several months and the shrimp did perfectly fine with it. That being said after trying other foods I now understand how this food is really troublesome for shrimp.

Firstly, the ingredients list is extremely unclear what is in the food and where it comes from. I can only imagine it is created by using scraps from other food recipes, but I have no way to confirm this. That being said, it is not the best food for shrimp, nutritionally speaking. It works fine, but it's just got some weird ingredients in there. Long term, overall health, I don't recommend this food for that reason alone.

Now, my biggest complaint about this food is that it's so hard and dense that it takes far too long, longer than any other food I've used, for fish or shrimp to eat this food. Even amano shrimp really struggle with this food because it's difficult to break down or break apart. The food ended up sitting in the dish more often than not and that led to some deaths in my tank in the end. I've since switched foods and had a lot better success with the shrimp colony.

Just not into it

My shrimp are not really taking to this food. I have two different shrimp tanks and they barely touch it in both tanks. They love the Hikari brand of foods and usually gobble it up quickly, with these I end up scooping it out of the tank.

Container intact. No broken seal. Food smelled ok, not moldy or visibly spoiled.
My shrimp eat them. Even my bottom dwellers. So, uh 5 out of 5?
