- Easy to Grow
- Low Light
- Bronze Color
Cryptocoryne Tropica is a form of crypt Wendtii which features long, crinkled leaves that are bronze to deep green in color. This crypt definitely stands out in an aquariums of any size.
Because this is a medium-sized crypt which grows relatively slowly, it serves as a great low maintenance midground plant. It will thrive under low light and send out runners as it grows.
I’m a notorious plant killer, but a recent shipment from Aquarium Co-Op are defying the odds. Some crypts, Jungle Val, anubias and water sprite are doing great. It’s helping that I’m also using Co Op Root Tabs and Easy Green 😉😀👍🏻
Very happy with this plant it was recommended by one of the sales staff at the store.
As with all the plants I received they came in great shape and fast shipping. I have had some melt as to be expected but new growth started within the first week.
The plant arrived in great shape, albeit with a bit of ice on the wool. I let it adjust to room temperature overnight before planting. I followed Cory's method of sticking a root tab in the wool and planting the whole pot under the substrate. Looks very healthy and my ghost shrimp like checking out those crinkly leaves!
