  • Easy To Use App
  • Only Takes Up One Wall Plug
  • Can Be Used With a Variety of Devices

The Kasa/Tp Link Wifi Timer has changed the way we use lighting. We have been running these cell phone app wifi timers in our fish rooms and store for over a year. You can plug many lights into 1 timer by using a power strip. You can also do neat tricks like setting something to turn on every day but not turn off. Why would you do this? Let's say you turn off your filter to feed your aquarium, and typically you do this when you get home from work. You can set the timer to automatically turn the power back on every day at 7pm.

I use this trick for my own fish room. There are days when I work out in the fish room late, normally my lights turn off at 9pm, but I also have them turn off again at midnight. This way if I'm working late and use the app to turn the lights on, they'll automatically turn off again if I forget and not grow algae.

4.75/5 Stars - love it, app could be a little easier

Awesome product! It helps a lot with managing the amount of light my tanks get. The app could be slightly easier navigate but its fine after set up.

Works great! I found that during the initial setup, you have to keep your phone very close to it, but once its set up you can just walk away and forget about it and it'll do its job.

Very Handy!

I love these timers for my aquariums as they are easy to set up and manage from my phone. The scheduling is very flexible and the settings are saved during power outages etc. I also use these on a couple of lamps in my home and love that the timer automatically adjusts for daylight saving time and for the time of year. It’s possible to set it up in such a way that it uses the time of sunrise or sunset in your location. For example, I can set the lamp to turn on 30 minutes before sunset and the actual time it turns on will adjust as the seasons change.

Upgrade from a timer

I’ve been in the hobby for a couple of years now, and a timer is one step that is necessary for my goal of having tanks with the least amount required maintenance. This timer lets you do everything and more from anywhere, would recommend it for a lot of things
