Crinum calamistratum is a unique bulb plant with very long and narrow leaves that are dark green in color and crinkly in texture. It can grow quite tall, which makes it a great background or centerpiece plant to keep your aquarium. Crinum plants will do best in at least medium lighting and are extremely slow growing, but they're a must-have for any plant lover.

Excellent and unique beginner plant

At this point in time, I’ve been keeping planted aquariums (or aquariums in general) for about nine months. This plant arrived very healthy - just some minor rot on leaf tips. I then put it into a one-gallon bowl for a couple weeks (floating) until I could rescape its home tank. It grew. It has now been in my tank for a couple of months and it seems happy and healthy. No rot. I even neglected the tank for a month (first trimester pregnancy nausea/vomiting/exhaustion) and it survived with no lasting problems. It’s still growing. This is a great, healthy beginner-friendly plant!
