  • Unique tiger stripes or spots
  • Low light and easy to care for
  • 100% clean with no algae, duckweed, or snails

Cryptocoryne nurii is a rarer crypt species that has the same size and ruffled leaf texture as C. wendtii but has distinctive spotting that looks like tiger stripes. This low light plant is easy to care for and likes to feed on root tabs and nutrient-rich substrate. Its coloration can vary from bronze to green, depending on the lighting and fertilizer.

On average, it can reach up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall and is often planted in the midground of tall tanks or background of nano tanks. C. nurii is slow-growing like most crypts, but once it becomes well-established, it will expand by growing new plantlet nodes from the root base.

So far so good

Arrived healthy and happy. Very nice culture. Melting back as expected but confident it will thrive once converted.

Already growing!

It's been just a few days since planting and the Cryptocoryne Nurii Tissue Culture is growing! I am thrilled! This is my first time trying Cryptocoryne. I have always been nervous that it was difficult to keep. So far I am very impressed!

Floyd (East Aurora, NY, US)

The crypt was very easily broken up into about 5 mini crypts. Beautiful coloration.

Crypt Nurii

Tissue culture was so grown, great root structure, that all I had to do was plant it in my aquarium, a previous nurii purchased from A***** is still growing root structure in my dirt tray. I should have ordered from the co-op in the first place.

Eric (San Francisco, CA, US)

came perfectly packed and in great condition
