- Easy to Grow
- Long Leaves, Loose Corkscrew Shape
- Robust and Hardy
Cryptocoryne spiralis is a taller growing Crypt compared to many other Crypt species such as wendtii or lutea. This plant has the ability to get quite large, in fact, and will likely need to be trimmed back as it matures. Especially if used in a small aquarium. As the long, slender leaves develop, they will take on a crinkled texture which will stand out beautifully in any aquarium.
Overall, Cryptocoryne spiralis is known to be very hardy and not demanding. As it grows along, it will send out runners which will develop new baby plants. The color of the leaves on Cryptocoryne spiralis are a bright green, but may take on a brownish tint once fully matured.
