  • Clover-like carpeting plant
  • Easily separates into multiple plant starts
  • 100% clean with no algae, duckweed, or snails

Marsilea hirsuta is a relatively easy-to-grow foreground plant that will carpet your aquarium like a field of clovers. The rounded leaves are bright green and may develop one to four lobes, depending on the environment. The plant ranges from 0.75–4 inches (2–10 cm) in height and stays shorter in medium to high lighting, which means minimal trimming is needed. Provide a nutrient-rich substrate (such as aquatic soil or a well-established, non-soil substrate) or plenty of root tabs for optimal growth.

Great condition

Plants are healthy and you can tell they're held onto for a while. Plants were grown in and hard to remove from the cup. A good problem to have.

Fantastic resource

They carry excellent products. Don't over-promise or over- charge. Ton's of free advice and resources. Never been disappointed.
Prompt shipment.
Only wish they'd sell livestock online.

A little goes a long ways

I got a single pot, and split it up to plant in my 7 gallon cube. The pot was very thoroughly rooted and grown out, I cut it up went about spreading it out. There has been very little die back, and it seems to be settling in, though it’s too early to tell if there is new growth.

Lucky for me 🍀

I’ve never had luck with cultured plants….until now! My marsilea hirsute tissue culture not only survived the heat and long trip but it’s thriving in my tank. I’ve had almost no melt and I’m already seeing new growth. ACO is definitely my lucky charm for plants! 🪴
