Bulkhead fittings are used to attach PVC pipes to aquariums and sump filters for uses such as drains and overflows. For aquarium plumbing projects, high quality bulkhead fittings that don’t crack and break are a must. The slip by slip (non-threaded) bulkhead fittings from Aquarium Co-Op are designed to withstand wear and tear without breaking down over time. They can even be used outdoors as they are extra thick and stabilized to hold up in the sun and elements. The tapered ends allow for easy fitting onto any pipe brand.

So ive used quite a few of these bulkheads from many manufacturers in plumbing filters and overflows. The Aquarium Coop bulkhead is very well made. The seals were perfect with minimal toghtening and the finish was great. The fit to the pvc pipe was perfect. These are very high quality compared to many ive used.
I would highly recommend these fittings for watertight plumbing

I have been trying to keep my costs as low as possible by DIYing as many things as possible. I decided at this price point I would give it a go for ease. Best decision I've made on this journey. These are exactly the right price and the quality is exactly what you need it to be. The nut goes on smoothly, the gasket is perfect, and the sizing for the slips is correct. Simple and to the point keeping it affordable and usable.

I love the bulk heads however I feel like it should not need to stick out of the tank so far. if it was possible to shave another 1inch or half inch off of it would even be better. Great product helpful people.
