I baited this with a frozen tubifex worm cube and put it in my 45 gallon tank that has way too many assassin snails. 2 hours later I pulled it out along with 20+ snails. I hope it works as well on another tank that is crawling with pond snails.
I am so glad that I bought the Easy Snail Collector! I have used it in several tanks. In the video portion of this review, I feature a time lapse of one of my daphnia culture tanks. You can see numerous Ramshorn snails (Planorbella duryi) climbing into the collector…but they don’t crawl back out! I am tempted to buy a few more of these snail collectors so that I can use them on multiple tanks at once!
great product, I was looking around for a snail collectors since my snail population blew up like crazy, was not happy with anything I saw on amazon and didn't know that Aquarium Co-op carried one but glad I found out.
It gets a LOT of snails out overnight! Totally worked as I expected it to! For me, it works better than carrots, zucchini, etc bcuz the snails stay inside for easy clean up! You only need to separate out the shrimp, and the snails you want to keep. But it gets more of the invasive snails that way! Thank you!!!
This works amazingly. Took out tons of snails. My tank was over run with snails. This really works. Great product. Priced good.

Live plants will ship using an appropriate service and typically arrive in 2 to 5 business days. Transit times do not include weekends, holidays, or weather delays. To avoid delays in the shipping network we recommend ordering live plants on Saturdays and Sundays for a Monday ship out.
Dry goods such as fish food, medication, filtration products, etc. can be ordered any day and will ship the next business day with an appropriate service. Typical shipping times are 1 to 7 business day transit time, depending on delivery location.

Alaska and Hawaii have a $17.99 surcharge. We do not ship to Puerto Rico currently.
