The Algae Scrubber pads make it fast and easy to remove Algae and film from the aquarium glass.

I'm still using the first of the three pack. It removes algae from the aquarium glass easily enough. I guess I dinged it one star because it tore easily- of course, now that I realize it can get torn, I'm a bit more careful when squeezing it out. It holds onto water- but somehow it requires less elbow-grease than my old nylon scrubber

I like these better then my Mag float very easy to use and I reuse a few times before throwing them away. No fear of damaging the glass. Thanks for another great product!!

It's the first time I used it it those the job just need to not be to ruff whit it because it can break off but for what ypu need it for its good

I’m gonna be honest I doubted that this was gonna work any better then any old sponge . I was blow away how easy it removed algae. I was scraping with an old gift card and the scrubber work ten times better. Worth every penny!

If you arent putting these in your cart every order your missing out.. these are the best scrubbers for algae and just polishing up the glass giving that HD fish tank look.... i don't scrub my glass everytime but when i do i use co-op scrubbers

I was buying some stuff and needed to spend just a few more $$ to get free shipping, so on a whim tossed in a package of these. I had some green spot algae starting on one of my tank walls and was having trouble getting it off. So thought I'd give them a try; boom, magic. I have continued to use these and like them - I just wish they lasted longer. After 3-4 uses they do start to break apart as others have noted. But for the price, I'll put up with it.

These are basically the same as Magic Eraser but lack chemicals making them fish safe. Had used a non-chemical version of Magic Eraser and they last months, however I can't seem to find them anymore. Given I have never been disappointed with Aquarium Co-op I decided to give their version a try and ordered a handful. While they work just the same, somehow the material is much weaker. The glass came clean but on the first use it ripped nearly in half and then started to rip in the opposite direction. I suspect by second use it will be two smaller pieces mid way and I will have to work harder with a smaller piece negating its worth. Buying a 3 pack every 6 weeks compared to the last one where 1 sponge lasted 2-3 months starts to add up in costs.

I normally leave the back walls of my tanks alone for snails to have a constant source of algae. Recently I realized my loach tank doesn't have snails that last long enough to really work on that algae growth. Back of the tank is a metallic bronze so the algae blended in well until I looked closely and saw how much was actually there. I ordered these hoping it would help contain the mess I was cleaning and it worked better than I had hoped. AND it rinsed out almost completely. This is a MUST HAVE.

I love this product I have one for each of my tanks that sits right on top for quick spot cleans and I use it at every water change to make my front viewing glass perfect.

The algae scrubber I received arrived in great condition, no issues once so ever with quality. I enjoy the compact size, makes it great for small tanks. Great deal, considering the price.

I really liked it at first but I would advise to get more than one hard to clean the algae off the sponge started tearing apart after the first use.

I purchased the 3-pack of Algae Scrubber sponges and one was sliced through the middle. When I shared this information with Aquarium Co-OP, their Customer Service Associate replied as follows: "The good news is, this shouldn't impact the functionality of the sponge.” A very disappointing response.

These sponges work great! Really clean glass well. With these many times a razor isn’t needed.
