  • Conveniently hangs on side of aquarium
  • Tough, break-resistant plastic design
  • Great for moving fish, plants, food, and tools

The Aquarium Co-Op Catch Cup is the universal tool that every fishkeeper needs. It can be hung from the side of any aquarium with ease and is used for shipping, breeding, moving, observing, holding plant trimmings, and a million other uses. This incredibly durable holding container is made from super clear plastic and is meant to withstand long-term use with your aquariums and fish. The plastic is pliable and break-resistant, even if you drop on concrete.  We love to use these daily at the Aquarium Co-Op retail store.

1

Inspect and Transfer Fish Between Aquariums

A catch cup is useful when transferring fish and shrimp. Use it to move baby fish, sick fish, or new fish to another aquarium.

2

Shatter Resistant

After using catch cups for the last 20 years over 100 times a day, we knew we needed an unbreakable version. If it's knocked off or dropped while full of supplies or water, ours won't crack. Competitors use different plastics that will shatter.

3

Photograph and Observe Fish

Our catch cup is crystal clear, making it easy to take great pictures of your fish. This is helpful when looking for disease or just sharing your fish online.

4

Hatching Eggs and Fry

The catch cup is great for hatching out eggs or isolating fry to keep them from being eaten. See here how methylene blue is used to prevent fungus on the eggs. You can hang the catch cup inside the aquarium as well if you want to use your glass lid over it and keep the temperature the same as the aquarium.

Great Catch Cup!

Love this, it's nice and large, great for when I need to scoop new fish out of a bag, move fish between tanks, or hold fish temporarily while I do something in the tank (sometimes easier with them "out of the way"). It's very sturdy. The price is amazing! Thank you ACO!!

Just what I wanted! I want to take a monthly pic of my angelfish to track his/her growth. This is perfect! I’m also using it for drip acclimation. In the future, I will use it for raising corydoras.

A must have for any hobbyist.

You think nets are a necessity in this hobby? Well this might as well be one as well. Knowing that I can easily hold captured fish or acclimate creatures with ease makes this hobby much more enjoyable. A must have. Pet stores use em you should too! Perfect for picking out plants and pest snails too

Throw all others away, Aquarium Co-op has done it right...! Again...!! Very clear plastic that seems to stay clear even with daily use and seems nearly unbreakable... and I can tear up a steel ball...! Thanks and keep your superb products coming...

Multipurpose

Great size and quality I use them for everything from looking at fish I catch to separate out or hold nets on sides of my tanks.

I'd give it 6 out of 5 stars if I could.

Love these I have 5 of em, great to scoop out gravel, move fish or plants around. I have alot of bio wheel size c filters for my tanks, this makes it easy to fit 4 in the container, take em out back and spray em off without making a watery mess.

Very Sturdy

I have to admit, I wasn't sure what exactly I was going to use this for when I bought it. After receiving it though, I think it'll get used in many different ways. It is larger than I expected, which is a good thing for me. It can be used to hold supplies while working on the tank, hold food/treats, and as an easy way to transfer new fish into the tank. It easily hangs on my rimmed tank and is secure enough that I'm not worried about it slipping off. Overall this is a nice addition to my work flow.

Great sturdy little container, great to transfer fish to other aquariums or as a place to put items in as you preform maintenance. Pictured hanging from my 10 gallon to show size. Love it, no more searching for a fish tank only bucket to do quick simple jobs with!

As the name suggests, the flexible yet tough plastic makes this difficult to break. I appreciate that it was also half the price as a catch cup from my LFS that looked very breakable.

I use it to keep some foods and test strips conveniently near the aquarium, and it also helped me quite easily catch my corys and move them from my QT to main tank, something that otherwise would have likely been a headache and higher potential to harm them.
