Activ Betta Bio-Activ Gravel is a natural aquarium substrate packed with beneficial bacteria to help speed up the cycling of your aquarium. This allows for the addition of fish into a set up sooner than using non-active substrate as the bacteria can begin consuming ammonia right away.

Excellent as usual
While I wouldn't say this instantly cycled my new tank, it definitely shaved a couple of weeks off the process. It also helped keep ammonia and nitrite levels from spiking or getting as crazy as they had been before adding the gravel.
The black color looks great in the tank, has an interesting amber sheen to it under the LED lights, and my Betta enjoys resting on it sometimes.
Nice and pretty substrate. Smaller grain than I was expecting but very pretty with plants, holds the roots really well!
Definitely has beneficial bacteria! A day after adding there was a bacteria bloom! Cleared up the next day😊 I love the color as well, it's black but it has a hint of green specs in it. Overall its exactly as described.👍
