Our algae scrubbers are great for cleaning tight spots and corners that traditional algae scrapers with a handle can't reach. They're also gentle enough to clean algae off anubias and java fern leaves.
Safe for Glass and Acrylic
Tough on algae but gentle with glass or acrylic aquariums! Your tank walls are safe from damage with our algae scrubbers. To prevent scratches, be careful of picking up any sand or fine substrate. Wipe the walls near the ground in a downward motion, and once you reach the bottom, remove any sand on the scrubber.
I was extremely pleased with how these algea scrubbers worked. I spent much less time and they were so much better than the non-scratching scrubby I was using.

Awesome glass or acrylic cleaner
Love these pads as they are magic! They are great for removing the hard green spot algae! Also if you have any acrylic tanks you know those plastic scrapers are basically worthless - this is the cure. You can reuse these multiple times and I'm always amazed at how the pad returns to white color. Eventually the pad starts to break down and disintegrate and then you just chuck it and get another. Highly recommend these!!

I bought these a few weeks ago, but only used them yesterday. They work great! I have been letting the algae on my tank walls build up on purpose as my tank cycled. Now I am slowly, some every week, cleaning it off. Algae came off with a few light brushes with this. Did not fall apart. I rinsed and will reuse. I added a second order to my cart to make sure I am stocked up.
I just like that I don't have to worry about any additives with similar products in stores. And it is a cheap price for that added assurance.
I thought I had unclear water, only to realize my water was fine! I was just looking at it through unclear walls! I might wait to try out the ACO poliching filter pad now.
I like that this is a gentle way to get rid of the algae.

These are by far the best things I have cleaned my tanks with. Cleans the inside of tank glass with very little effort. Very easy to rinse/dry out and reuse afterwards.
