Great plant, growing like crazy

I'm super impressed by this plant. It arrived with about seven leaves, so a good size, but I had to trim off all but two. It was during the extremely hot weather a couple weeks ago, so even with the well-insulated packaging, I was expecting to lose a few leaves. I put it in the back corner just a few hours after I got it and tucked a root tab about an inch away, and it is growing like crazy. I've had in ten days and it's basically back to where it was when I got it. It's so beautiful too, I can't wait for it to fill out even more. I love the shape of the leaves. If my tank wasn't so full of plants already I would absolutely order more, but I have a feeling this thing is going to be a monster so I'll settle for just one. It is definitely on my list for future tanks though!

The plant arrived in so-so shape: the larger leaves had clearly died and begun to rot, and there was a noticeable smell. I trimmed away the dead leaves, leaving only a few small healthy leaves. I soaked the plant, rinsed it clean, and planted it in my aquarium.

I was concerned when the previously healthy leaves also began rotting. I kept trimming away dead material, and within a week, I saw new green growth emerging. That growth is now unfurling into leaves, and the surviving original leaves have grown and spread. Despite the rough start, my plant now seems to be thriving.

Plant came in great shape and beautiful and big. Love the wavyness and beautiful light green color. Wedged the bulb between dragonstones and so far its staying put.

Rough looking upon arrival but its a grower!

Plant arrived looking bad, torn damaged brown leaves. That was noted in the plant listing so I wasnt shocked. We cut off all the damaged leaves and planted the root ball as instructed with root tabs. Within 2 days saw new leaves starting to emerge and now after 2 weeks have 5 young leaves with noticeable growth daily. Its been fun watching it go from nothing to the plant its becoming

Would buy again. When it came i didn't think much of it 01/22/2026... dead and dying leaves about 2 small new growth. But most bulb plant are extremely resilient and it was. I now have 7 leaves, beautiful healthy color and starting to curl 2/1/2026. Great purchase should've bought 2.

Resilient!

I got this plant specifically for one of my tanks that I try to make look like a beach rather than a river scene. It was a way to convey "under the sea" since I can never get Val or Corkscrew Val to grow in this tank. It arrived on a Monday and I typically do my tank maintenance on weekends, so I had to wait to deal with this plant. I kept it moist, but worried that by the time I got it that it would be dead. Well, by the time I put it in my tank, it had all melted except for one leaf. Today is Friday and it has shed that one last leaf and grown 5 new ones - in only a week! Amazing plant. Highly recommend.

Amazing plant

This is a stunning bulb plant that grows fast. However, the leave are delicate so expect most of them to be melted or damaged in shipping. This is not a problem though because they'll grow back in a couple of weeks. The picture shows 1 1/2 weeks of growth- the three leaves in the center are all new growth

My favorite plant by far

I never heard of this plant before browsing aquarium co-ops selection. It looked cool and when I got it home and planted it, it grew like wildfire. 2 feet tall and sprouted stands out of the middle of that into the flowering at the top of the water. Beautiful plant. I ended up ordering a half a dozen more to fill my 125.

These plants are ridiculous

I love these plants! I bought 2 because I thought they looked sort of like kelp. They were a bit of an impulse buy, I wasn't really familiar with this plant at all. I bought them on November 30th, got them December 3rd and put them in my 75gal that day. It is December 30th. They have grown more than 4x when I got them- and are flowering. These things are crazy cool and the fish love them.

Nice.

A very pretty plant, I like the wavy look. It grew pretty quickly. It is flourishing in my hard water tank. Definitely a fan!

Awesome Plant

I've had this plant for about a month now and it has really taken off. It came shipped wrapped in paper towels inside a baggie with about 4 leaves. It quickly acclimated to my 20 low tech tank and seems to be thriving. My only complaints are it really needs a less scientific and easy to spell common name. It is also getting big, so next time I get one I think it would work best in the back center of the tank, so it has room to stretch.

This plant grows fast

Was reaching the top of the water (18”) and had two flower pods only three weeks after receiving - amazing. I did put a high quality root tab under each to help. But considering this tank I got for free is in serious need of a light upgrade (I’m saving up for a fluval from aquarium coop) this plant is thriving. My tap water runs a baseline of 8.0 ph - with leaf litter and drift wood I can get it down to about 7..6-7.5ph so without fertilizer I have trouble with plants - will def be ordering more of these in the future since they’re doing so well - thx aquarium co-op

Very Happy!

It came in with very good size and looked great. After a bit now it is thriving in my sons tank. I would definately buy again.
