Aquarium Co-Op Air Pump with Battery Backup

Thank you, Cory. The relief I feel is immense.

Our power has been out for (currently) 40 hours. (NW Indiana had some tornadoes come through on June 11, 2026, and power is, of course, getting repaired as fast as they can). I have 3 ACO dual air pumps, each connected to an elevated ACO smallish sponge filter. I have one each on an overstocked 65 gallon cichlid tank, as well as a 75 and 55 gallon overstocked, but heavily planted, tanks. I keep the pumps running despite the canister filters on each tank, because power outages aren’t planned, right?

The night the power went out, I didn’t panic, because I knew your pumps would take over. And they did. Big time. Every single fish has survived. No one is gasping for air. They’re all in chill, sleepy mode.

I also have a single outlet ACO air pump that was fully charged, and I use that to supply the tanks on a rotating basis as I recharge the dual ones for each tank.

My fish will be fine, because I trust you, your products, and I planned ahead for emergencies. Real world experience of 40 hours (and counting).

Have enough air power for two large Sponge filters in my 40 gallon

I bought this pump in case of a power outage and it performs perfectly. The power went out and the sponge filter continued to pump. What a relief. I must also say it runs very quietly.

The battery backup is a great feature.

amazing quality, reliable and convenient! i regret not getting one sooner! i love the adjustable strength, the battery backup and build quality. it’s pretty quiet i have it under the cabinet i dont hear it unless i open the cabinet. i got the dual outlet one. my order came without the power cord so i reached out to aquarium coop and they sent me a whole new one! amazing customer service!
