Sagittaria subulata or dwarf sag is a great plant for aquarists new to planted tanks. It is relatively undemanding and will spread easily to form an eye-catching, grass-like carpet. It tends to stay shorter in brighter lighting but can grow quite tall in lower lighting.
We Include Heat Packs and Liners Free of Charge
We have a custom-developed algorithm to include heat packs and insulating plant liners as needed, based on the weather forecast from our warehouse to your shipping address. This helps keep plants at stable temperatures, both in hot and cold weather. Other vendors typically charge you at checkout for a heat pack. We include them when needed free of charge because it's our job to deliver our plants to your door healthy.
How We Grow and Store Our Plants
We store all of our plants in aquariums with plenty of light and fertilizer to start converting their leaves. This picture is from our warehouse. Not all vendors store their plants in water; many store them out of water in bags straight from the farms. This is more time without light and doesn't give them a head start in growing underwater leaves.
2 out of 4 Dwarf Sag I ordered came in rough shape, The other 2 were in ok shape but all 4 had yellow and brown leaves. They were a bit smaller than I expected going by the pictures on this website but that isn't a big deal.
They were packaged extremely well though and the two Amazon swords I got looked fantastic so not sure what happened with the Sag
Hopefully I am able to edit/update this review in a couple weeks if they bounce back.
As a side note plants ship out from Kentucky which I should have double checked had I known that I would have picked a faster shipping method just so the plants were in the box less time. I wrongly assumed they came from Washington State which has less than half the transit time to my location.

Great so far
So far so good. Had the plant for about two weeks. Some of the leaves have died off where they were folded over during shipping. I’ve been using Easy Geeen and it seems to be helping it recover.

Not Great Condition and long delivery time
I’m really disappointed with this order. The aquarium plants arrived in very poor condition—lots of yellowing and dying leaves, clearly not healthy. There was no insulated bag included, even though that was mentioned on the website, which likely made things worse during shipping.
Speaking of shipping, it took from May 13 to May 19 to arrive, way longer than the promised 3 to 5 days. That delay plus the lack of insulation probably explains why the plants looked so bad on arrival. I expected better quality and more care in packaging for live plants.

I recommend the plant weights for this one!
These guys looked great upon arrival, but I'm glad I bought the plant weights in the same order, because they want to float! They are transitioning well, but the Buenos Aires tetras are nibbling on the new growth.

tall sag
I was surprised by how tall it is - I expected about maybe 2" and got 6-8"also very full . It was perfect for my 20 gallon hexagon . Love it .

For some reason this shipment of a bunch of plants looked sickly. Last time I ordered they were perfect. I think something happened in shipping. I do not beleive it to be co ops fault. Hopefully they all come back in the water with easy green.

One of several plants...
I had 2 orders in February to plant in a new setup. Look at this now! I especially love the Tiger Lotus Bulb. The leaves came off in shipping, but right away began to sprout. I can't believe it's less than 2 months! My amano shrimp are sure happy!
