If you already own an Aquarium Co-Op sponge filter but wish you had greater water circulation, get the Easy Flow Upgrade Kit. By lengthening and curving the uplift tube, water flows out of the sponge filter horizontally across the water surface, increasing the current and oxygenation in the fish tank. No need for an air stone because it also comes with an air collar that creates smaller bubbles for quieter sound and optimized sponge filter performance. It works with the Aquarium Co-Op small, medium, and large sponge filters, as well as our nano sponge filters made after 2023.

Increase Circulation in Your Aquarium

The Easy Flow Sponge Filter Upgrade Kit creates a directional current in your aquarium. This is good for delivering nutrients to plants and sweeping debris back to the filter. It also benefits fish by giving them something to swim against.

No Air Stone Needed

Our air collar replaces the need for an air stone. Uniform bubbles with the airline on the outside delivers better even flow, which increases the flow rate and reduces noise. No more glug, glug, glug sound. Use a small pipe brush to clean the collar during monthly maintenance.

Excellent Water Movement

I have fantail goldfish. They are less than a year old, so the HOB and canister filter I have created too fast of a waterflow for these fish. I purchased two Easy Flow Sponge Filter Upgrade Kit for the sponge filter I had, and they are working great. The water flow is perfect for my fish, and the water flow through the sponge filters is keeping the water clean and well oxygenated. The product is well built and works great so I would definitely buy the upgrade kit again if I need another.

Super sponge filter upgrade!

It is super to see the surface water movement from this filter. My fish are more active...enjoying the water movement! I have two in my 75 gallon tank and two in my 125 gallon tank!

Shipping Policy

We process and ship out 98%+ of our shipments next business day. 

Live plants will ship using an appropriate service and typically arrive in 2 to 5 business days. Transit times do not include weekends, holidays, or weather delays. To avoid delays in the shipping network we recommend ordering live plants on Saturdays and Sundays for a Monday ship out.

Dry goods such as fish food, medication, filtration products, etc. can be ordered any day and will ship the next business day with an appropriate service. Typical shipping times are 1 to 7 business day transit time, depending on delivery location. 

Faster shipping options available at checkout for an additional charge.

Alaska and Hawaii have a $17.99 surcharge. We do not ship to Puerto Rico currently.
