The Easy Seachem Tidal Optimizer solves the biggest complaint with Tidal filters, the surface skimming, side skimming, and unprotected intake on the Tidal 35. We've optimized this 3D printed intake to replace the stock intake and cover. This allows all the suction to come in from our intake. The filter is further optimized when you install a medium coarse pre filter sponge on the 35/55 and a large coarse pre filter sponge on the 75/110. This intake helps to keep your floating plants from getting sucked into the surface skimmer. Note that tiny shrimplets and very small fry can still get into the pre-filter sponge. It's recommended to raise fry with sponge filters only, or turn down the flow on the Tidal filters to maximize fry survival.

Easy install and so far working marvelously. Before this modification the skimmer box motor area this replaced was clogging up instead of sending particles on to the filter box causing flow issues and pump to not run properly.

Installed on a Tidal 35, and like many others, broke 1 of the side tabs, trying to place it on the motor. But it still felt like a solid connection, and appears to be working fine.
Especially appreciate Zenzo's video. It was well done and easy to follow. I'm sure the couple of minutes I needed to watch it, were more than made up for by following his advice. Great job, Zenzo. Thanks!
I have a 135 gallon aquarium that is running two Seachem Tidal 110 filters. The surface skimmer was unbearably load once some algae got caught in there. These optimizers completely solved the noisy skimmer issue. The optimizers 3D print could use some improvements. The first (1/2) arrived broken in the box which they sent me a replacement for quickly. The tabs to connect the part to the pump are very tight fitting but not very strong(PLA) so I can see many customers snapping them off during installation. Overall, I think it’s a great idea. Would be even better if they made the STL file available to purchase.

Live plants will ship using an appropriate service and typically arrive in 2 to 5 business days. Transit times do not include weekends, holidays, or weather delays. To avoid delays in the shipping network we recommend ordering live plants on Saturdays and Sundays for a Monday ship out.
Dry goods such as fish food, medication, filtration products, etc. can be ordered any day and will ship the next business day with an appropriate service. Typical shipping times are 1 to 7 business day transit time, depending on delivery location.
