Shrimp don't seem to care about it but the snails come to it been dropping them in once a month things have stayed consistent

Throw it in, snails eat it when they want to and it disolves when the water needs it.

While my snails and shrimp didn't eat any of it, I let it dissolve over several days and it has helped to increase my GH. Shells are looking healthy.
This is great for all my tanks. It's better then Wondershell in that works as a food source and buffers my water much better. Since using I've seen my nerite snail shells slowly recovering. Five stars isn't enough.
