The best! Puffer food made easy

I have several tanks of ramshorns, pond and bladder snails. It can be difficult to get enough out for my spotted Congo puffer to snack on. Not anymore! Thank you aquarium coop!

amazing

I have some very annoying small 2 mm-6 mm snails in a guppy, cpd and cherry shrimp tank that have been very hard to get out. I used the snail collector overnight and caught over 200 snails. I am using those to feed my congo spotted puffer. It was amazing. no shrimp or fish lost.

Snail Trap

I have already caught few of dozen snails in two days. This has put a dent into invasion.

The first day I also found an amano shrimp in the trap, and the second day a kuhli loach. Luckily they move a lot because they blend in withe the black of the trap.

My 15 gallon tank doesn't have a lot of open floor space but I was able to squeeze it in. If I need to move it to my bigger tank that won't be an issue.

Works Great, Multi-Functional

After getting the feedback from Cory to try using algae wafers as the bait in the Easy Snail Collector I had immediate success trapping out bladder snails when using the Hikari Algae Wafers. I will continue to use in all of my tanks for snail removal.

Prior to that I had started by trying using the Xtreme Shrimpee Sinking Sticks which worked AMAZINGLY well as a shrimp trap for Neocaridina shrimp. Easily 60+ shrimp caught in the trap with little to no effort on my part. If you've ever tried netting out neocaridinas in a well planted tank you can appreciate how challenging that can be; I think this would be a great tool for culling and improving shrimp lines for anyone who is colony breeding their shrimp.

I'd easily recommend the Easy Snail Collector to anyone looking to catch either snails OR shrimp; choose your bait according to what you're looking to trap.

The fit and finish on the Easy Snail Collector is great and the thoughtful design additions like drain holes make it really easy to use.

I've tried other products, like the cumbersome Sera snail trap, DIY bottle traps, etc but all had drawbacks being either difficult to use, limited in the sizes of snails they could catch, or too easily trapping fish leading to tragic outcomes.

Works a little too well!

I’ve had the product for a total of 4/5 days. I have removed over 200 small snails. On occasion shrimp and fish will go into the trap but as you remove the box / empty the water they will all exit leaving the snails behind. “Bait” stays in its place and lasts for multiple uses. If you have a snail problem don’t fight it slowly, spend the money and get your tank back.

Easy Snail Collector

I bought 3 of these to put in 3 different tanks. The picture I posted below is using an Xtreme Bottom Wafer. When the picture was taken the Easy Snail Collector had been in the water for 15 minutes. It is very very simple to set up. I don't have a picture of what it looked like this morning, but it was packed full of snails. This has been the easiest snail trap I have used and I have tried at least 4 or 5 other ones. It is well worth the money and does a great job!

Works Great!

Got mine yesterday, this is the result of being in the aquarium overnight with NorthFin kelp wafers as bait.

This thing just works

I've only used for two days now but I'm highly impressed so far. My shrimp tank had a silly number of bladder snails and I'm not a fan. Popped some food in the trap and overnight I picked up approx 150 snails...just an estimate. I'm going to run it without checking for the weekend and see what I get. But my visible snail population on the glass is nearly gone in one night! Can I get all of them? Probably not, but I'm sure going to try. Definitely pick one up in your next order.

Worked for me

Easy to set up. Just set it on the substrate, put some cheap shrimp wafers in the slot and waited 24 hours. I've been collecting about 40 -50 snails for 3 days in a row now. I had no idea I had that many.
