The 3D printed Easy Snail Collector makes it easy to collect snails by putting food in the food chamber. You then put it into your aquarium and wait overnight. Then you can remove the snail collector, letting the water drain from the strainer corner. Relocate to another aquarium or feed to your favorite puffers and loaches.
Collect Snails Easily
Put some algae wafers or other food in the chamber, wait 24 hours and remove a lot of snails.
Feed Snails to Fish
Feed the snails collected to puffers, loaches and more.
Snails in, Fish out.
The lid is designed to keep snails in but make it easy for fish to swim out. Optimizing for fish safety. The larger port hole means less fish will get stuck but can go in and out, also leaving some swim room in the collector if they can't find their way out.
Care for 3D printed items
Clean in cool tap water and air or towel dry, avoid exposure to high heat and direct sunlight.
I bought this on a whim. Put it in the tank as directed. My bristle nose pleco decided it was his new home, so I had low expectations. I let it in the tank for 24 hours, chased the pleco out and carefully removed it from my tank. I was AMAZED by the number of snails it caught! I started counting and stopped at 30 because there were just soooo many snails in there. Highly recommend! Don’t hesitate!

It works
Snails go in. Pleco fry go in. Snails stay in. Pleco fry get out.

Worth the $
Wasn't sure about spending the money but wow, good looking 3D product. Looks like someone knows what they are doing making these. If you have a snail problem, just buy it and be done with it. I rotate the 2 I purchased every 24Hrs to all my tanks to manage population as I breed guppies and feed heavily. A+

This works!
Two twenty gallon tanks were overrun by pest snails....I do love snails but these had gotten out of control. In 24 hours this trap snagged 50 to 60 of the little varmits in the first tank. I am impressed. The trap is nicely constructed and will last for a long time.

Really works!
I am quite pleased with the snail collector. I had so many ramshorns in one of my tanks that Pygmy cories were having a hard time feeding on sinking pellets. Tank is almost free of snails now. However, if you have mystery snails, you may want to put a rubber band around it before putting in the tank. The first times I used, the lid was always propped open and the snails were able to get out. Until I watched one evening the strong mystery snail move the lid. Since I started using rubber bands, I had no issues.

Effective Collector of Snails and Perfect Shrimp Photography Platform
Works as described and solidly built. I was genuinely shocked at how many snails it had collected in just one day. I found it works best with algae wafers as bait. My shrimp perch on the lid and they look so good against a black background! It's also very easy to dump a shrimp back into the tank if they are accidentally inside when I take it out of the tank.

Easy snail collecter
Works very good , not disappointed . I just made a mistake when I cleaned it with hot water which distorted the precise fit . This was my fault , just passing this along so it doesn't happen to anyone else . Will have to get a new one on my next order. Good design and fit before I messed it up . Barnegat Ed
