I have two tanks. One is a 2.6 gallon planted tank that had snails in it. I just did not know how many. I used two strong magnets to hold this device on the front glass, as I did not have enough clear space on the bottom for it. 24 hours later I took it out and emptied the captured snails. There were 125 in the bottom that I emptied out in the sink and counted. Then I looked under the lid and found the rest, for a total of 174. No wonder my KH and GH kept falling. Now I can have better control over the little buggers. I had no idea how many were hiding in there. Interesting though that I did not have to remove any shrimp out of the trap. V/r Claude
Great product
This product works as intended. Over a course of a week removing and putting a algae wafer in the trap significantly removed the snail population.
I generally like have snails in aquariums but there a time where I have needed to remove them. I have found this product to be very effective and easy to use. I highly recommend this product as an easy way to remove snails.
My 40 gallon tank was overrun with Malaysian Trumpet Snails. I tried clown loaches with minimum removal.
This snail trap, stocked with a few sinking brine shrimp pellets, cleared the problem out in 3 days.
Collect and remove snails each morning, re-stock and over night it again.
Worked like a charm!

We process and ship out 98%+ of our shipments next business day.
Live plants will ship using an appropriate service and typically arrive in 2 to 5 business days. Transit times do not include weekends, holidays, or weather delays. To avoid delays in the shipping network we recommend ordering live plants on Saturdays and Sundays for a Monday ship out.
Dry goods such as fish food, medication, filtration products, etc. can be ordered any day and will ship the next business day with an appropriate service. Typical shipping times are 1 to 7 business day transit time, depending on delivery location.

Alaska and Hawaii have a $17.99 surcharge. We do not ship to Puerto Rico currently.
