Mayca fluviatilis is a soft, bushy stem plant with thin leaves that are a light green in color. It is an easy to grow plant which does well in at least medium lighting. Once established, it will grow quickly and provide a lush hiding spot for fish and shrimp.

It's fine texture will draw attention to any aquarium and contrast nicely against larger-leaved plants. Because of its unique appearance, it is commonly referred to as Stream Bogmoss - though it is not a moss at all.

One of my favorites!

As soon as I unpacked this plant, I knew I was going to love it. I really like the texture and pale color. Great contrast to other plants. I was very happy with how long the stems were already. I was easily able to separate the stems, put the few longest in my 20 tall and it was almost to the top. Several smaller stems went into a 5 gallon. It's been 2 weeks, no melting and already seeing decent growth and roots. Also can't say enough about the packaging. Very impressive.

I bought a total of 2 Mayaca two separate days. They are plentiful in each pot so I now have a good supply planted in my 20 gal .... very healthy. I've already had to trim them and replanted my cuttings. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Looks beautiful in the tank and the fish really like it. Has a nice soft feather type looking appearance to it.
